Poonch, Apr 02: Security forces gunned down three militants and busted two militant hideouts in separate incidents in the district in Jammu division today, defence sources said. The security forces, on a tip off, launched an operation in Hari Budha area of the district this afternoon and in the subsequent gunbattle shot dead three militants. Three AK-rifles along with nine magazines were recovered from the slain militants whose identity is yet to be ascertained, the sources said adding the encounter was going on as two more militants were still trapped there. Security forces have also busted two militant hideouts in the same area and recovered some arms and explosives from them. However, details of the recoveries are awaited as it is raining heavily in the area, the sources said. Bureau Report
