Mumbai, Mar 12: The Bombay High Court today adjourned till Monday the hearing on the interim bail application of Samajwadi Janata Party (SJP) MLA Anil Gote, one of prime accused in multi-crore fake stamp papers scam to attend three days' vote-of-account session of the state legislative assembly.
While adjourning the matter till Monday Justice V G Palshikar has asked the state to file affidavit on the interim bail application of accused Gote.
Gote has prayed in the application that being the public representative he had not attended last few sessions of legislative assembly so this time he may be allowed to attend the 'vote-of-account' session, which is scheduled from March 15 to March 17.
The state had already filed a reply to the bail application, but Justice Palshikar had asked for a detailed affidavit in this regards, which the state will file on Monday.
