Lucknow, Nov 25: The annual Lucknow festival showcasing Avadhi culture, tradition and cuisine gets underway on the bank of River Gomti here today.
Lucknow, Nov 25: The annual Lucknow festival showcasing Avadhi culture, tradition and cuisine gets underway on the bank of River Gomti here today.
The 15-day festival, orgnaised jointly by the UP Tourism and Lucknow District Administration, will this time also have stalls by the craftsmen of other states presenting a composite culture of whole of the country, Commissioner, Lucknow, DC Lakha said here yesterday.
Besides providing a platform for the local talents, the festival will also have programmes by well known personalities like Shovana Narayan, Vadali Brothers, Shubha Mudgal, Hansraj Hans, Pt. Jasraj, Hema Sardesai and Sapna Awashti, he said.
