David Beckham who could be playing in a friendly here early

Beckham had been contacted by a top club in the UAE to play in a charity match in January.
"The match is a United Nations initiative and we are almost certain of having Beckham coming down for it," quoting an organiser.
The challenging team is yet to be decided, it added.
"Eric Cantona is definitely another one of the players in the Beckham team. The game will be for a cause and further details are being worked out," the organiser said.

Beckham's arrival would be "the next big name in the game
to cause a bigtime stir in the UAE," following
news that Paul Gascoigne is set to "don the colours" of UAE
team Al-Jazira next season.
