New Delhi: Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn on Friday took to Twitter to condemn the recent terrorist attack that took place at Zakura in Srinagar on Friday evening. At least one Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) jawan was killed and eight others were injured as the terrorists attacked their convoy near a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) camp.
"One more life lost and 8 injured at Zakura. How many more will we have to count?" tweeted the 47-year-old star.
As per information, the condition of four jawans is said to be critical. "The jawans were injured in the terrorist attack near CRPF camp in Zakura, while they were returning from duty," said SSB Inspector General Deepak Kumar.
Three companies of SSB were returning after patrolling in six trucks, where the convoy was attacked by militants at Zakura on the outskirts of Srinagar along the road to Ladakh. The SSB men retaliated by returning fire but the militants reportedly fled from the scene, Kumar added.
On the professional front, Ajay is all geared up to hit the silver screen with his upcoming film 'Shivaay'. It is slated to release on October 28 this year.
