Bern, Dec 06: A delegation of Sri Lanka's Tamil Tiger rebels will visit Bern on Sunday to study Switzerland's political system after accepting a federal system of government in exchange for giving up war. "The Tamil Tigers will study how Sri Lanka can learn from Switzerland's federalism," Muriel Berset Kohen, a Swiss foreign ministry spokeswoman, said yesterday.
Kohen declined to identify the four people who will make up the delegation.
The Tamil Tigers are to meet on Monday with Swiss foreign ministry representatives, she said.

The rebel group and Sri Lanka's government ended three decades of ethnic bloodshed yesterday after agreeing that a federal system of government could be the basis for a final political solution to a conflict that has left 60,000 people dead.
The historic deal, brokered by Norway, means there will be regional autonomy with an extensive degree of devolution of power to minority Tamils.
The geographic limits and the extent of devolved authority is up for negotiation, diplomats said.
Peace negotiators had earlier studied Canada's federal system in search for a settlement. Bureau Report
