Akshay Kumar and family to celebrate Diwali in Maldives?
The Kumars will be returning to India post-Diwali.
New Delhi: With Diwali approaching, the festive spirit is slowly and steadily taking over the B-Town. Now, latest reports claim that Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar, wife Twinkle Khanna along with their children - Aarav and Nitara – will not be celebrating Diwali in India.
According to an India today report, the star family was recently spotted at Mumbai airport as they were leaving for Maldives. The report further states that the Kumars will be returning to India post-Diwali.
In order to make this occasion more special, Akki on Monday also shared a special video message for the Indian soldiers, wishing them a 'Happy Diwali'.
In the video, which he shared on Twitter, Khiladi Kumar said, “The best way to celebrate a festival is with your loved ones and the good luck of spending festivals with our families is because of you (soldiers). Without even knowing us, you love us and keep us safe."
"I dedicate this Diwali to all the soldiers...We are because of you. This was my message to the soldiers," he added.
The 49-year-old star urged people to send their special Diwali message to the soldiers.
