New Delhi, June 26: Measures to screen dreaded SARS disease, which were in force in the country to check passengers at various airports and ports, were withdrawn today. A decision to this effect was taken by the Union Health Ministry as local transmission as well as new probably cases of SARS were not being reported from the neighbouring countries which had been declared SARS-free by the World Health Organisation. "It has been decided to call of SARS screening measures which have been undertaken at various ports and airports with effect from today", official sources said.
