Nagpur, Dec 08: Veteran Congress leader and former Union Minister Vasant Sathe has postponed his proposed hunger strike on separate Vidarbha issue from today, Congress sources said. Chief Minister Sushilkumar Shinde accompanied by MPCC chief Ranjeet Deshmukh and guardian minister Satish Chaturvedi met Sathe last night at his residence and persuaded him to put off his hunger strike. They assured to take up the issue with Congress leadership in Delhi, sources added.

Sathe had yesterday announced that he would sit on a hunger strike till a resolution for separate Vidarbha is tabled by Congress in the winter session of state legislature, starting today.
