New Delhi, Aug 19: All the 127 passengers onboard an Air Lanka flight from Colombo tonight had a miraculouas escape when the plane made an emergency landing at the Indira Gandhi International Airport here following a snag in its hydraulic system

The Air Lanka flight UL 191 from Colombo to Delhi was scheduled to make a landing at 2140 hours .
However, at around 2125 hours, the captian sent out a message to the air traffic control that he wanted a priority landing as there was a hydraulic failure in the plane.
An emergency was declared at the airport within minutes with fire tenders and ambulances being rushed to the tarmac, police and airport officials said.
The plane made a safe landing at around 2202 hours and all passengers were evacuated safely.
