London, July 02: India`s challenge in the Wimbeldon tournament remained alive with third seed Mahesh Bhupati and Max Mirnyi of Belarus winning their third round tie here. With this win, the pair advanced into the doubles quarter-finals. the pair will face Bjorkman and Woodbridge in their next match. The duo outplayed Julien Boutter of France and Sjeng Schalken of Netherlands in straight sets 6-1, 7-6 (7-3) 6-4.

Bhupati`s win comes after his former partner Leander Paes lost in mixed doubles yesterday.
