Patna, Dec 01: Repolling in four booths for two reserved assembly seats-- Barachatti and Fathua -- in Bihar passed off peacefully today, election office sources said. Voter turnout at the four polling booths was very low with the average voter turnout in the two constituencies less than 40 per cent.
By-elections to two reserved assembly seats were necessitated following the death of RJD nominee Bhagwatia Devi from Barachatti and the election of Dinesh Choudhry (RJD) from Fathua being set aside by the Supreme Court.
The by-poll to the two seats was held on November 20. Bureau Report
