Shiv Shankar was picked up from his residence in Shahdara

The sources said Shankar was picked up after SPG, the elite unit protecting the prime minister, lodged a complaint that a man was repeatedly calling them up over the last few days. The main focus of his telephonic talk was that he wanted to meet the Prime Minister for some personal work, they said.
The possibility of the man being mentally deranged cannot be ruled out, they said.
