New Delhi, Oct 13: Cricket board President Jagmohan Dalmiya today said the board and the cricketers have reached a final understanding on the details of the players contract and graded payment but declined to give any details on the agreement. "We have had a few sittings with the players. We have agreed on all points and nothing more is left to discuss... We now have to turn this understanding into contract," Dalmiya said after a two-hour long meeting with the players' representatives at hotel Taj Palace here. "Now the board's lawyers will make the contract. The players may also want to consult their lawyers after the papers are prepared," he said. The board was represented by Dalmiya along with BCCI Joint Secretary Ratnakar Shetty and media co-ordinator Amrit Mathur while skipper Sourav Ganguly, Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, Zaheer Khan, Anil Kumble, Harbhajan Singh and Virender Sehwag attended the meeting on behalf of the players. When asked about the details of the points discussed during the meeting, Dalmiya said "it is confidential and we will not like to disclose it now."

Dalmiya, who was authorised by the board's AGM to decide on the details of the contract system after discussion with the players, was non-committal on the time frame for signing this contract. "No one is in a hurry. Neither we nor the players are in a hurry to sign the contract."
