Huge flames of fire also engulfed several enemy bunkers
and other military installations, the statement said.
The statement said the attack on Monday was launched in retaliation for indiscriminate firing and unprovoked shelling by Indian troops in the Neelum valley, Rawalakot and Kotli sectors which killed six and injured another 11 people.
The injured were rushed to nearby hospitals, the statement said.
Earlier local officials said a 20-year-old man had been killed by shelling in the forward Kahuta sector of the southern district of Bagh. A 75-year-old man was injured in the Khuiratta sector of the Kotli district and another person was injured 100 kms south-east of Muzaffarabad, the capital of Pakistan-controlled Kashmir, according to officials.
