New Delhi, Aug 16: Confident of defeating the no-confidence motion to be brought in parliament on Monday by Congress against the NDA government, BJP today said "it would "expose" the opposition, specially the Congress." Talking to reporters here, party spokesman Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said "this motion would only bring all the NDA partners still closer, while the fissures within the opposition ranks would increase. In the last four years, the opposition in Parliament has been bereft of issues." He said the Congress has brought this motion as it is fearing that it would be unsuccessful in the coming assembly elections in five states. He said this would further bring down the popularity of the Congress and "the opposition would receive a severe jolt as the people of the country would develop a dislike towards them and their attitude."
Naqvi said the congress was following the steps of RJD leader Laloo Prasad Yadav and "this kind of gimmicks of bringing no-confidence motion against the government would not work."

He said Laloo was being used by congress to entertain the nation at the cost of the people of Bihar who are "paying a heavy price for it." Bureau Report
