Jammu, June 11: Four Pakistani infiltrators and five militants were among 12 killed in separate militancy related incidents in Jammu and Kashmir since last night, police said today. Four Pakistani intruders, who entered deep inside Indian territory along the International Border, were killed in an encounter with police at Sangral border outpost in RS Pura border belt of Jammu district this morning, they said.

In another incident, police and Army in a joint operation gunned down two Pakistani militants belonging to Lashker-e-Toiba outfit in Dengratop in poonch border district this evening, police said.

Ayub and Haji Talib belonged to the group of LeT militants, of which five were killed in Dera Nangli Sahib on Monday, they said adding arms and ammunition were also recovered from them.

Two militants were killed in an encounter with security forces in Banihal area of Doda district in Jammu region last night and arms, ammunition recovered from them, police said.

They said security forces killed another militant, belonging to Hizbul Mujahideen outfit at Rajdhani Begla in Thanamandi area of Rajouri district. An AK rifle, a grenade gun and some ammunition and grenades were recovered from him.

A 12-year-old boy was killed when some explosive substance exploded while he was grazing his cattle at Turmaida in Badgam district of central Kashmir today, they said.

They said the body of a shopkeeper abducted by militants, was recovered from Sarnal area of Anantnag district.

A civilian was killed when he was caught in a crossfire between militants and security forces at Kot Pathri forest in Udhampur district of Jammu last night, police added.
