Jammu, July 04: The Jammu and Kashmir government failed to submit 922 Utilisation Certificates worth Rs 396.26 crore to the Centre between 1999-2001, according to the Comptroller and Auditor General of India report for year 2003. The certificates are pending from 14 state government departments. The education department tops the list with 326 UCs worth Rs 139.45 crore during the period, the report said.
It is followed by the housing and urban development department having 309 UCs worth Rs 160.69 crore, it added.
