Patna, July 20: The Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) today raised its opposition to Jharkhand's domicile policy and demanded its immediate withdrawal. Talking to reporters here after the state executive meeting of the party, NCP general secretaries Tariq Anwar and Jagannath Mishra said the meeting resolved to fight the domicile policy of the Jharkhand government.

The new policy had created law and order problems and the state was witnessing a series of agitations, they said adding the Babulal Marandi government should immediately withdraw such "draconian policy". Bureau Report
