Nellore, Oct 26: Observing that ballot and not bullet was the only instrument for development, BJP president M Venkaiah Naidu today appealed to political parties and people to unitedly fight terrorists and naxalites. Political parties must unite leaving aside differences for the development of the nation, he said at a function to launch the modernisation of railway station here.

Earlier, Union Minister of State for Railways Basava Gouda Patil laid the foundation stones for the modernisation of railway station at Nellore, Vedayapalem and Venkatachalam.
Andhra Pradesh Information Minister S Chandramohan Reddy, South Central Railway general manager Stanley Babu were present on the occasion.
