New Delhi, Dec 15: Former Union Minister Dilip Singh Judeo and his personal secretary Natwar Rateria were today questioned by CBI for the second time in connection with the cash-on-camera scam. The duo were earlier quizzed on December 11.

Judeo had sought time till today from the CBI to prepare replies to all the queries of the investigating agency, CBI sources said.

The CBI, after registering a preliminary enquiry (PE) on November 18, had sent notices to both Judeo and Rateria on two occasions. The CBI would ascertain whether to convert the PE into a regular case (RC) as the motive behind the bribe and the amount taken was not clear so far.

During their separate questioning on December 11, the CBI tried to ascertain various facts related to the case which included whether the two had visited the hotel on the day mentioned in the videotape which purportedly showed Judeo as taking bribe.

The two were questioned separately after which their statement were to be compared before the agency took any further decision. Bureau Report
