Kohima, Oct 23: Ahead of president A P J Abdul Kalam's proposed two-day visit to Nagaland beginning October 26, security has been beefed up in the state, especially in the capital town of Kohima. Additional Superintendent of Police, Kohima, Neibu Newmai told reporters that intelligence agencies were on alert and elaborate security arrangements were being made by state police.
Special police arrangements would be made in all the places where the president would be visiting, he said adding, ''one company of reserve police has also been called for''.
