Ajmer, June 14: Congress president Sonia Gandhi today sought the blessings of Sufi saint Khawaja Moinuddin Chisti at his tomb in the famous dargah here. Gandhi offered a velvet chadar and roses at the tomb as Khadim Ghani Gurdeji presented her gifts wishing prosperity and success.

Anjuman, the organisation of khadims, also presented her gifts.

A large number of people standing on both the sides of the dargah bazar greeted her by raising slogans ‘Sonia Gandhi zindabad’ as the Congress president arrived at the dargah.
Earlier in the day Gandhi visited Pushkar to offer puja at the Gau Ghat of the Pushkar Lake and prayers at Brahma's Temple.
