Srinagar, June 19: Pakistani troops shelled Turtuk sector of Jammu and Kashmir overnight damaging a police post but without causing any loss of life, official sources said today.

The post located near the line of control in Ladakh was
hit during the heavy shelling, they said adding the policemen
posted there escaped unhurt as they had taken shelter in a safety bunker.
Indian troops retaliated to the shelling which started
last evening and continued till this morning, the sources
said.
