Busting a spy racket, Delhi police has arrested three civilians working with the navy for allegedly passing on sensitive documents to an official of the Pakistan High Commission, police said. br>
Police said Mohammed Abdul Samad, an assistant in the directorate of marine engineering at the naval headquarters, had been passing sensitive information to Gulam Shabbir Khan of the Pakistan High Commission.
Giving details, police said investigations revealed that Samad had introduced two more persons -- Francis Prakash and Babul Nath Maurya to Khan. On a specific information that Samad along with his accomplice Prakash would come to deliver defence related secret documents to the Pakistani official, police laid a trap late on Thursday night and arrested the two and detained the Pakistani official, police said.
A case under the Official Secrets Act has been registered against the officials, they added.
