Lahore, Mar 11: World cricket chief Ehsan Mani says the restoration of the ongoing India-Pakistan series is "one of the most important breakthroughs" in the annals of the game, terming their rivalry as "second to none." "I consider this (Indian tour of Pakistan) to be one of the most important breakthroughs for cricket," International Cricket Council (ICC) president Mani said.

"History alone will judge the impact of the forthcoming series not only on the cricket ties between the two nations, but as a tool to foster goodwill between the people of the two countries," Mani said, refusing to take credit for the restoration of the cricketing ties between the two traditional rivals.
