New Delhi, Nov 07: The Election Commission tonight ordered transfer of 10 senior officials in Sidhi district in Madhya Pradesh with immediate effect for violation of model code of conduct ahead of the assembly polls in the state. The Commission's action followed its inquiry into complaints against some officials for favouring the ruling party in the elections, EC sources said.

The 10 officials, some of them belonging to the rank of deputy collector, have been found guilty of favouring the ruling party, the sources said.
