New Delhi: Minutes after Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor launched his Indian Super League franchise Mumbai FC, wishes started pouring in from all quarters. And yes, ex-girlfriend and co-star Deepika Padukone was one of the first few to wish Ranbir on his ISL team.
Dippy took to micro-blogging website Twitter to congratulate her ex-beau and also wished him good luck for the new venture. She wrote: “All the best-est to you and your team Bira!!! Chic logo btw...;-)”
Deepika and Ranbir have been 'good friends' even after their break-up. They also worked together in Ayan Mukerji's 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani' and will very soon be seen romancing in upcoming flick 'Tamasha'.
The 'Barfi' star is not the only Bollywood celebrity to have invested in the League. The FC Pune City is co-owned by none other than Salman Khan while the NorthEast United FC is being backed by John Abraham.
India Super League (ISL) is a professional football league that is to take place in India. The inaugural season will start from October 2014.
