Bhopal, May 26: The Samajwadi Party would play a vital role in formation of the next government in Madhya Pradesh after the coming assembly elections, leader of opposition in Uttar Pradesh Assembly Mohammad Azam Khan, claimed here today. Pointing out that the SP would contest the assembly polls in full strength, Khan said the number of its MLAs would be decisive in government formation.

To a question, he said the outcome of the elections could not be predicted at present. Attacking the state government on development front, he told reporters "a government never lacks funds. What is needed is to take steps to increase resources".
