New Delhi, Sept 29: HRD Minister Murli Manohar Joshi is likely to file an appeal in the Allahabad High Court on Monday against the verdict of the Rae Bareli special court decision to frame charges against him and six others in the Babri Masjid demolition case. The decision follows a series of consultations Joshi had with his lawyers on the case.

Earlier, addressing BJP workers from Uttaranchal, he pledged to fight a legal battle. Asked about the date when the review petition would be filed, Joshi said "It is upto the lawyers to decide."

Besides his lawyers, he has also had discussions with VHP leaders Vishnu Hari Dalmia and Ashok Singhal, who are among the seven against whom the trial court has decided to frame charges. Bureau Report
