New Delhi, Nov 27: Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee today paid rich tributes to ninth Sikh Guru Teg Bahadur saying that he inspired people to rise above hatred and narrow-mindedness. "Guru Teg Bahadurji showed mankind the way to humanism, tolerance and sacrifice. He inspired people to rise above hatred and narrow-mindedness," Vajpayee said on the eve of the Guru's martyrdom day.

Dedicating ourselves to the cause of social harmony and pursuit of one's chosen path of service and universal brotherhood will be the real tribute to the Guru, he added.
