New Delhi, Feb 05: Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) chief Laloo Prasad Yadav gave enough indication to contest the coming Lok Sabha polls, saying he was speaking for the last time in the Rajya Sabha today. ''Ab to udhar jana hai (now I have to go that side),'' he said in the Upper House before starting his speech on the debate on the interim budget (general).
Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairperson Najma Heptulla, while asking him to speak, also confirmed that Yadav had said it was his last speech in the House of Elders.
Today was the last day of Parliament and the 13th Lok Sabha would be dissolved tomorrow.
''Kya ham log apko pasand nahi aye (didn't you like us)?'' Heptullah asked.
''I have had experience of this house and now I will be seen in the other House,'' Laloo replied giving a hint that he would contest the coming Lok Sabha polls. Bureau Report
