Sydney, Oct 17: Pace bowler Jason Gillespie today withdrew from the Australian cricket team to contest a limited-overs tournament against India and New Zealand in India starting later this month. Gillespie had been included in the Australian squad subject to fitness but will be replaced by Brad Williams, who made his Test debut against Zimbabwe today. Gillespie has been suffering from a strained side, which kept him out of the second Test against Zimbabwe. The Australian one-day squad leaves for India on Wednesday for the three-and-a-half-week triangular series.
