New Delhi, Oct 14: Asserting there could be no army without discipline, Defence Minister George Fernandes today said the entire armed forces should not be blamed for a folly of a few of its personnel. "Discipline is of prime importance in an army. Without discipline, there can be no army,” he told reporters when asked to comment on the recent case of alleged rape by some armymen attached to the Rashtrapati Bhawan security.

"If a few people from such a disciplined force do something wrong, the entire force should not be given a bad name ... We can only condemn such acts," Fernandes said.
