A villager was killed in firing by Pakistani troops along the international border in R S Pura and Akhnoor areas of Jammu region on Friday night, official sources said. They said Pakistani troops resorted to unprovoked firing along the border in R S Pura, Akhnoor, Samba and Hiranagar areas of Jammu frontier since Friday.
Gurdas Chand was killed at Kotekuba border out post (BOP), they said adding BSF troops retaliated and the exchange of firing with the Pakistan rangers continued till Saturday morning.
