Guna (MP), May 19: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Digvijay Singh yesterday went to the `jinxed' Ashok Nagar, a place in the district with a reputation that no chief minister has retained his post after a visit there. Singh, who became chief minister in December 1993, went there for the first time only in late 2001. That time, local BJP leaders had betted an amount of Rs 70,000, saying singh would not come there.

Meanwhile, after returning from Ashok Nagar, Singh, who says he wants to break the superstition, said, "The BJP people have still not paid me the money they had lost in 2001." "I intend to get this money along with interest from them soon," Singh chuckled. Bureau Report
