Cartagena, Mar 14: Three Leicester players have arrived in England after being released from prison in Spain.
Three Leicester City players granted bail by a Spanish judge after being accused of sexual assault arrived back in England on Friday (March 12). Frank Sinclair, Keith Gillespie and Paul Dickov were granted bail late on Thursday (March 11) having spent almost a week in a Spanish jail after three women accused them of sexual assault at a luxury resort. The incident allegedly took place last week during a training camp for the English premier league club in the luxury resort of La Manga in the southeastern corner of Spain. The players paid a total bail of £196,500 (288,000 euros) at the court hearing and met with Leicester's chief executive Tim Davies son after leaving jail.
Before departing from Alicante, the three players and Leicester's chief executive Tim Davies joined a national minute silence in respect for the victims of the bombings in the Spanish capital Madrid.
Leicester City manager Micky Adams had already said the players would not be considered for selection for Saturday's premier league match against Birmingham City.
The six other players who were released by the Spanish authorities last Friday are all available for selection - with the exception of James Scowcroft, who starts a three-match suspension.
Leicester are second bottom of the premier league, a point above Leeds United.
Striker Paul Dickov said outside his home that all he wanted was spend sometime with his family and asked reporters to wait until a news conference scheduled for next week.
