New Delhi, Nov 18: CBI today registered a preliminary enquiry (PE) to probe into the bribery charge against former Union MoS for environment and forest Dilip Singh Judeo following a decision by Prime Minister Atal Bihari to conduct a thorough investigation into the matter.
CBI registered the PE after seeking legal opinion and the agency would first determine whether the video tape or the video compact disc was genuine or doctored, agency sources said here.
