Systems design and software services company Spectrum Software of US and leading systems integrator Tata Infotech on Friday announced signing of agreements which involve working together as service partners in marketing Spectrum's products.
Under the terms of the agreement, Tata Infotech would market 'SpectrumSCM' platform through its countrywide sales network. It will also provide product support and training for SpectrumSCM as part of this agreement, a company statement said in New Delhi. Further both companies would work together to pursue telecom service opportunities and execution of projects either onsite or offshore, from Tata Infotech's facilities in India.

Both parties agreed to leverage their respective strengths in this area to establish a competitive market advantage for the US market.

Sarathi Srinivasan, President, Spectrum Software, said, "We have in Tata Infotech a reputed company with market credibility, resources and the capabilities to understand and market our product. We are confident that through the efforts of Tata Infotech and Spectrum's strength globally, we will be able to achieve our target for deployment of 100,000 licenses of SpectrumSCM by 2005."

Tata Infotech managing director Nirmal Jain said, "We found SopectrumSCM to be an attractive alternative to the expensive high-ended SCM systems that are currently in the market place. Spectrum has good domain expertise and customer contact base in the telecommunication market-space."
