Mangalore, Oct 30: The four-day 48th National Convention of the Indian Jayces, the 'Natcon-2003' will get underway here today.
The first three-days will deliberate on the General Assembly, wherein presidents of all the local chapters will discuss and evolve programmes and policies of the Indian Jayces, Lokesh Pejgade, convention director, told reporters here.
Other issues like honouring young individuals who have attained great heights in their chosen fields like literature, art, medicine and sports, would also be discussed, he said.
Cultural competitions and programmes to promote the spirit of national integration among Jaycees from all over India would also be held, he said.
