Hyderabad, Nov 11: After a string of reshuffles in police department in the midst of strong indications about snap assembly polls, Andhra Pradesh government today shifted eight IAS officers and issued orders for new postings of four more IPS officers. Deputy Secretary in Public Enterprises Department K Narayana, who recently created a flutter by offering to quit service to take up the cause of dalits and telangana statehood, was rewarded with plum posting as made Chief Rationing Officer, official sources said.

V Usharani will be the new commissioner of Vijayawada municipal corporation replacing Praveen Prakash who has been posted as additional commissioner of Hyderabad municipal corporation.

V Anil Kumar, Ramanjaneyulu and A Ashok will be the new joint collectors of Nellore, West Godavari and Mahaboobnagar districts respectively while B Venkateshwar Rao has been made executive director of AP Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (APIIC). Bureau Report
