Srinagar, Apr 04: An army jawan was killed and two others injured in unprovoked shelling by Pakistani troops along the Line of Control (LoC) in Kupwara district of north Kashmir, official sources said today. Havaldar Gurdeep Singh of field regiment was killed and two other soldiers injured in shelling by Pakistani troops using mortars and artillery weapons at Khokhr post in Karnah sector yesterday. The sources said Indian border troops retaliated but the casualties suffered by Pakistani troops were not known. Besides Karnah, cross-border shelling was also reported from Teetwal, Keran Ajztangdhar sectors but there was no report of any casualty, the sources said. Bureau Report
