London, May 10: National Security advisor Brajesh Mishra today met his British counterpart David Manning and discussed a "wide range of issues" including measures needed to end cross-border terrorism. Mishra's luncheon meeting with manning, advisor to British Prime Minister Tony Blair on foreign policy issues was officially described as "cordial" and "extensive."
Mishra was here on a transit visit from Washington to back home to New Delhi. During his address at the American Jewish community in Washington, Mishra proposed an anti-terror alliance among us, Israel and India saying all three were victims of international terrorism. India has a joint working group with Britain on ways and means to tackling terrorism.
On his way to Washington, Mishra had a luncheon meeting here with US Deputy Secretary of State Richard Armitage who is currently in India. Bureau Report
