New Delhi, Oct 26: Lok Sabha Speaker Manohar Joshi today condoled the death of Swadhyaya founder, Pandurang Shastri Athavale and said he had made priceless service to the nation through his spiritual teachings. "Athvale's death is a very big shock for me. It was only some days ago that I had sent a request to the Prime Minister proposing his name for 'Bharat Ratna' award. The nation has lost a great personality in Shastriji's death," he said in a statement here. Joshi will attend Athvale's cremation in Mumbai today alongwith Deputy Prime Minister L K Advani.
