Chandigarh, Nov 11: A local court today posted the matter in the defamation case against Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh to December 9. The case, filed by former Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal, was adjourned till December nine by Chief Judicial Magistrate C L Mohal Badal was not present in the court. Seeking Rs 5 crore as damages, Badal has alleged that Amarinder had defamed the Badal family through letters and advertisements ahead of the elections which said Badals owned assets worth Rs 3,500 crore, including those in Australia, the US and Switzerland.
