Ayodhya, June 25: Brushing aside VHP's claim to be a party to any Ayodhya solution, Nirmohi Akhara, one of the main plaintiffs in the Ram Janambhoomi-Babri Masjid title suits, today said that it was not averse to the efforts of the Kanchi seer to resolve the Ayodhya issue, but a solution to the problem would not be possible without involving itself and Sunni Central Waqf Board. "We are not against the Kanchi Shankaracharya's efforts for a negotiated settlement of the matter, but the two main plaintiffs, the Nirmohi Akhara and the Sunni Central Waqf Board (SCWB) must also be taken into confidence and included in the parleys", the mahant of the Nirmohi Akhara Bhaskar Das said here today.

He proposed a meeting of the Kanchi seer's representative, the All India Muslim Personal Law Board, the SCWB and itself to find an amicable solution to the vexed Ayodhya tangle.

He said that "any lop-sided solution imposed from outside on us would not bear fruits".

The 'akhara' had already offered five bighas of land in Vidhya Kund locality in the town to the Muslim parties for construction of a mosque.

This place was approximately three km away from the makeshift temple site.
