There`s just no stopping Demi Moore
More than the three beautiful leading ladies of `Charlie`s Angels 2: Full Throttle`, the most outstanding scene stealer in the film may well be the femme fatale played by Demi Moore. After a long self-imposed hiatus from Hollywood, shortly after the collapse of her marriage to Bruce Willis, Demi makes her return to the limelight with `Charlie`s Angels 2`.
More than the three beautiful leading ladies of “Charlie’s Angels 2: Full Throttle”, the most outstanding scene stealer in the film may well be the femme fatale played by Demi Moore. After a long self-imposed hiatus from Hollywood, shortly after the collapse of her marriage to Bruce Willis, Demi makes her return to the limelight with ‘Charlie’s Angels 2’.
And what a comeback it is, too. Quite easily the biggest of the year, so far. Branded a diva by the gossip columns, her last bunch of films bombed where it matters, the box office. But anybody familiar with the alluring actress could have easily predicted that she would not just be back but return with a vengeance. And that is precisely what she has just done.
The fiesty lady is no babe-in-the-woods where Hollywood is concerned. A thorough veteran who started her career in the 80’s as part of the Brat pack, she went on to become the highest paid actress in Hollywood (not any longer, though) apart from wielding immense clout in a town notorious for being an only boys’ territory.
From a supporting role as Michael Caine’s daughter in “Blame It On Rio”, her first hit, she gained recognition for her role of a junkie in “St. Elmo’s Fire” which co-starred the upcoming new breed of talent. It was “Ghost” that cemented her status in Hollywood’s A-list.
No stranger to notoriety, Demi came in the eye of controversy when she disrobed for the cover of Vanity Fair while pregnant. Her brazen streak was evident in her choice of films as well, most notably in the Michael Crichton adaptation ‘Disclosure’ about a female boss who sexually harasses her subordinate, Michael Douglas.
Moore’s return to the limelight is not limited to the screen alone. Once again the fiery actress has set gossip columns aflutter when at the premiere of “Charlie’s Angels 2”, she was escorted not just by her latest love, Ashton Kutcher but by ex-hubby Bruce Willis as well.
