Colombo, Aug 18: The Sri Lankan Navy has arrested 25 Indian fishermen for allegedly entering the island nation's territorial waters, police said today. The fishermen together with their 17 boats were seized by the Navy and were handed over to local police at the small islet of Delft off the Jaffna peninsula, police said. They said investigations were underway following the overnight arrests. Fishermen from both countries straying into each other's waters is common along the narrow strip of sea known as the Palk Straits dividing the two. Bureau Report
