Operators of all CNG vehicles will strike work once again on August 28 to protest the shortage of CNG fuel. The Supreme Court has set September 1 as a deadline for commercial vehicles to convert to CNG. All CNG vehicle operators said that all vehicles will remain off the roads and that they will hold a dharna to press their point of view.

They warn that incase no action is taken despite their protest, they will go on an indefinite strike from September 1.
The SC had earlier pulled up Indraprasta Gas Ltd, the petroleum ministry and the state government for failing to provide adequate gas supply. Bureau Report
