New Delhi, Dec 03: "Dream girl" Hema Malini today described her first day in Rajya Sabha as "good" and said she would take up issues relating to women besides art and culture in the House. The 55-year old actress, nominated to Rajya Sabha, said she would also raise matters relating to environment, children and films.

Asked whether she would give priority to Parliament, dance or films, the MP said "I will do everything together".

On how she would manage it, the actress said "you will see it for yourself how I will do it".

"Give me some time. It is my first day. I have seen the house. I will start working may be from the next session", she said.

On the commotion in the House today, Hema Malini said "I somewhat expected it. There were loud noises from the right, from the left". Meanwhile, Dara Singh, another newly appointed Rajya Sabha member, also from the tinsel world and a former wrestler, described the house as a ring for a "mental fight".

He said during his stint he would lay stress on health related matters and try to put forth his viewpoints.

On his first day in the house, Singh said "I found the environment to be nice". Bureau Report
